I’m sure you can all relate to me right about now. I get to pretty much be my own boss since I am one of the creators and all that – there’s only one problem – I don’t have any money! Which means GossipReport gets to keep going by the generosity and funding from others; which is cool but it also means I have to do what they say – usually if I like it or not. Soooo frustrating.
I think it’s so important for me to have a relationship with you. I need to know your thoughts and your feelings about GossipReport and the only way for me to do that is to blog to you and then hear your comments.
Apparently – some people don’t agree. Not to name names, but someone out there thinks that my time could be better spent on trying to get people to talk to me in places other than this blog. But you know what – I’m saying DOWN with the Man! I’m gonna blog as much as I damn well please. I think it’s that important. And I like it. So there.
Imagine this: Every day you have to try to make people understand that gossip is good – which you know - but a lot of people out there are haters and don’t want to hear it. So I totally rely on you to keep me going because I know you’re not a small-minded meany-face (I just censored myself…) who want to pretend like they don’t gossip – YEAH RIGHT!
Do you agree? I’m sure I’ll be hearing about this little rant but I don’t really care right now. I’ll keep you posted on if I get in trouble:)

Sometimes you just need to vent on this site. Some may call it gossip, I call it therapy. I unload all the negative crap people have done to me. If these people don’t want me telling the world then they should not or say these things to me!!
Morgan you’re so right. People are so weird about calling gossip “gossip” just because they want to pretend like they don’t do it! They’ll call it anything else BUT gossip. But it can be totally therapeutic. I felt better as soon as I got it off my chest. Was it gossip? I think so just because I think any time you basically talk about ANYTHING it’s gossip! I haven’t heard anything about it yet - maybe THE MAN is getting the hint:)….
Thanks for hearing me out and for actually understanding that gossip can be good! It all depends on how you do it and how you use it! I’m glad GossipReport can be an outlet for you!
hi elizabeth! i really think you and morgan have the right idea here. gossip isn’t necessarily a bad thing. and it can be therapeutic! keep standing up for yourself and spreading the gossip word. and keep on bloggin……. damn the man!

Call it gossip if you want, but everything I have posted as a stringleader is true. It happened. I know some of it sounds unreal. At times as I watch it unfold I can’t believe it myself…..so I have to tell somebody.
chillipepper…stand up for your self. Honestly…if you are telling something about somebody remember this…”the truth hurts” That is why every thing I tell as a stringleader is truthful to the best of my ability. Like I said…if these people did not want me telling the world…they should not have done or said these things to me.
Like I always say - Just because it’s gossip doesn’t mean it isn’t true! Actually - I do a lot of research on gossip and it turns out that most of the time - gossip is true, and even more, it is usually more accurate than other forms of communication! It’s a really effective to talk about something. Gossip is TRUTH - lies are lies - lies aren’t gossip.
I can see that could be true. One way to find out if what a person is saying is true is if the story they tell never changes. ie..like details in the story. If they are “making it up” details change, but if it really happened, the details do not change, and the repeat the same details over and over. At least that is what I have been told.
I am just curious about something….the “view” counter on our threads? How accurate are they? I have watched them jump as soon as I post a thread, and I wonder if that many people have already seen it. Thanks.

Yeah, the views should be accurate. I know one thing - we have a lot of voyeurs out there who are keeping an eye on GossipReport all the time! It wouldn’t surprise me at all if people are seeing it right away:) You probably just have really good gossip that everyone wants to read!
OMG Elizabeth, you are so totally a saint! I could not go on, literally, if it werent for your site. WOW. pleaaase keep doing your amazing work! YOUr a noble citizen in my mind and dont let the man get you down!
